Over the last twenty years, John Pickett has participated in both the prosecution and defense of some of the most important complex commercial, intellectual property, and class action cases brought in the State and Federal Courts of the United States. The Eastern District of Texas and the Western District of Arkansas, and more specifically the Texarkana, Tyler, and Marshall Divisions, have been a “hot bed” of commercial litigation, class action cases, and intellectual property activity. Presently presiding over cases in these divisions are United States District Judges Rodney Gilstrap, Leonard Davis, Robert “Trey” Schroeder, and Susan Hickey. These judges are considered to be premiere jurists in the area of complex commercial and intellectual property litigation, as well as class action lawsuits. John Pickett has been fortunate to provide both local trial counsel and lead trial counsel services to his clients in a number of complex cases in these courts and welcomes the opportunity to act as local counsel in any case filed in the Eastern District of Texas and the Western District of Arkansas, as well as being willing and able to take more substantive roles in any case in which he is retained.
